Nguyen Cong Hoan
As a branch director of a bank in Hanoi, many people were surprised when Nguyen Cong Hoan decided to leave his job to start a bespoke tailoring brand offering at-home services for gentlemen. However, for Nguyen Cong Hoan, it was absolutely the right decision. He shared: “When I was a bank director, I used to order tailored clothing and was called in multiple times for fittings. But due to my busy schedule, I couldn’t always go immediately. That made me wonder: why not create an at-home tailoring service to save customers’ time?”
Considering himself an “outsider” to the industry, Nguyen Cong Hoan understood that he needed to learn and strive much more than those already experienced in the craft. He traveled extensively to find skilled tailors from traditional tailoring villages across the country. After a long period of searching and testing, he gathered more than 20 highly skilled tailoring artisans from Hue, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and other regions.
Nguyen Cong Hoan shared: “After more than 10 years working as a bank director, I realized that tailoring processes can also adopt customer management methods similar to banking. We separate measuring and tailoring into different stages. The higher the level of specialization, the better the efficiency. From there, we built a team of stylists with a keen aesthetic sense. Based on customers’ needs, stylists provide consultation and recommendations to help them choose the most suitable design. Then, the stylist takes measurements and ‘places the order’ for artisans to craft according to those measurements. Afterward, the stylist delivers the garments to the customer’s location for fitting until they are completely satisfied. With dedicated, wholehearted, and professional service, Juan’s Tailor has achieved a customer satisfaction rate of up to 95%.”``
